A major part of BTCV's work is supporting people's life skills needs. We believe that sustainability means providing opportunities for people to develop life skills through a variety of initiatives.
BTCV Employment Services is involved with a variety of income generating initiatives, many of which are linked to training and increasing employability. We work in partnership with the Department of Work and Pensions, Jobcentre Plus, employers and a range of providers, offering a diverse range of opportunities depending up customer's needs.
Through our Life Skills programmes, BTCV responds to labour market needs and works with government to generate creative ways of addressing skills shortages aimed at reducing unemployment.
Taxable profits generated as a result of BTCV Employment Services activity are covenanted by gift aid to BTCV.
